Platonic Nirvana
Platonic: Derived from Platonic Idealism, that everything we percieve is a reflection of a higher state of being. In my opinion, the root of all western ideology.
Nirvana: The final step in the Bhuddist philosophy of attaining perfection. Upon attainment of Nirvana, one is at complete peace with ones self, devoid of all passions. In my opinion, again, the root of all eastern ideology.
The result of these two philosophies would be that our world is a pale imitation of its true splendor, and it is the duty of the individual to bring together, piece by piece, a universe of enlightened tranquility.

I don't generally write articles; more lurking/tossing my opinion about than anything else. Kind of a wikignome, though less useful :P
