Playdays was ace, wasn't it?--Crestville 22:49, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Roll up and ride on Rosie, she'll turn you around and around... (nostalgic sigh) --Spe88 07:04, August 12, 2005 (UTC)

Surely it ended much later than 1993...I know it was replaced by the Tweenies, but the internet just reveals a lot of websites that disagree with each other as to when Playdays ended (probably due to the constant repeats). Also, not all of the stops arrived at the same time. The Dot Stop was replaced with the Playground Stop at one point, and, later on, the Tent Stop was replaced with the Poppy Stop. As to when, though, is a mystery. BillyH 15:07, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)

  • It did it was still around in 1997. TAS 18:54, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Some Comments

I remember watching it when I was 6, and I was born in 1990, so it must have kept on going. If I remember correctly there were over 3000 episodes. Now, if they showed around 300 a year (there was the dice stop on saturday and I think that there was another one) it would last them 10 years. Which would fit in with what you said about it going until 1999.

I was born in 1989 and ever since I can remember I watched this programme. I have a tape from about 1996 where there are three later episodes of the programme on. But I'm sure that it finished being broadcasted in 1997+, or were these just repeats? And also since Ellie Darville and Sue Monroe aren't very notable as actors, is there really a need for links from their names? (Cepb 12:43, 13 December 2006 (UTC))

It was still being repeated as late as a few years back, but the last new episodes were definitely in 1997. I used the BBC Programme Catalogue to check, which was only online for a while but it listed every episode and it's original airdate. BillyH 13:31, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

WHY AREN'T THE SUBTITLES "EXTERNAL LINKS" OR "BIBLIOGRAPHY" COMING UP ON THE SCREEN???????

[edit] Day of the Roundabout

This is purely based on hazy childhood memories, but I could swear blind that I always looked forward to the roundabout stop on Wednesdays. U-Mos 19:18, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thursday and Friday

I don't know enough to write about it, but the article does not give any information about what was shown on Thursday and Friday other than the names of the stops. 82.43.155.134 (talk) 17:06, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
