Im working on the classification of these protozoa. many of the species listed under related infect blood cells but are currently classified in a different branch of the apicomplexia. This section may perhaps be better classified as 'Other parasites infecting blood cells.'

The literature on these organisms is not well organised and its proving tricky to sort this out. DrMicro 20:07, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
