The Carafoli and Strehler refs are both very good, comprehensive reviews. I didn't manage to get all the way through either of them, hopefully someone can go through them some time and get more useful info. Is not SERCA responsible for maintenance of the high Ca2+ level inside the SR and the low Ca2+ level inside the cell lumen? This article tells the opposite, probably through an oversight. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.142.82.118 (talk) 15:33, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
