[edit] Ship's personality

This is looking really nice but I think some attention should be paid to the ship's personality along with her relationship with Bender. I think it would be good to show the personification of the ship in that episode. I'll try to add something if I get the time. Stardust8212 02:43, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Design

I think the front end of the ship looks like Thunderbird 2. Homage or coincidence? Halmyre 19:17, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

      Coincidence probably

Is the current Planet Express Ship the second, or is it the third? In the episode 'Future Stock' Hermes shows a promotional film that mentions 'significant one-time losses' before showing the ship crashing. I suppose this could mean the ship needed substantial engine and body repair, but could it also mean that the ship was totaled at that point and a new one was built? --Kaykfrink (talk) 05:01, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Brief mention in Space.com article

Just found an article about the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame which mentions that the Planet Express ship is included in a "interactive, computer-animated display that mimics a space station" where various ships float past (such as the Millenium Falcon and the Enterprise) and visitors can see their dimensions and features. Unfortunately that's pretty much all that's said. Since I think this is one of very few secondary sources to actually mention the ship maybe it should be in the article somewhere but I don't know where because there's just not much to say. Anyway, link here. Stardust8212 05:34, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:OldPlanetExpressShip2.jpg

Image:OldPlanetExpressShip2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
