I removed the following:
- It is one of the principal settings of the novel The Island by Victoria Hislop
as the Hislop article states that her Plaka faces Spinalonga, which is the other end of Crete from the Plaka referred to in this article. It is not clear if 'her' Plaka actually exists. MartÃn (saying/doing) 07:57, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
