[edit] Orleans Station

Some OC Transpo maps on there website are using the term Orleans Station instead of Place d'Orleans Station. I don't think the real name has changed, but i've redirected Orleans Station to here.--JForget 16:36, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Two Park & Rides??

I am 99.9% sure this part is wrong:

"There is an important Park and Ride lot located beside the station and another one north of Highway 174 beside Champlain Street. In total, there are over 600 parking spaces in the vicinity of this station."

The only park and ride lot is the one north of 174. Although the station is located in the middle of a parking lot, this is for Place d'Orléans Shopping Centre customers only, as evidenced by the giant signs everywhere specifically threatening OC Transpo riders. If you park there and get on a bus, you may receive a warning or a ticket. The mall does have an agreement with OC Transpo to allow for some overflow parking on their lots, but this is only in the south-west corner of the mall's property, which is quite far from the station. They do this on purpose, first because that part of their parking lot is often empty, and moving the overflow parking away from the bus station discourages riders from parking there unless they have no choice.

I will change the article, but correct me if I am mistaken. --70.81.251.32 03:41, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Yeah I do remember they had to shut down the lot on the south side of the 174 and looking at the Area map, there seems to be just one park and ride lot on the north side of the 174. [1] And yep it is only side overflow parking space on the southwest corner right by Saint-Joseph Boulevard which is probably a few-minute walk from the station. [2] So, if the changes are not done already I will do it right away.--JForget 17:37, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
