Playing for Time

Playing for Time is a 1980 made-for-television film drama made by Szygzy Productions and broadcast by CBS. It was directed by Daniel Mann who replaced Tony Richardson and Joseph Sargent. It was produced by John E. Quill and Linda Yellen, with Louise Ramsay as associate producer. The screenplay was byArthur Miller, based on the autobiography by Fania Fénelon, Sursis pour l'orchestre (The Musicians of Auschwitz).
The film stars Vanessa Redgrave, Jane Alexander, Maud Adams, Shirley Knight, Christine Baranski, Marisa Berenson and Viveca Lindfors.
