"Playas Gon' Play" is the second and final single from 3LW's self-titled debut album 3LW. The single was released in late 2001. Although it was a favorable song among fans, the song only peaked at a low #81 on the Billboard Hot 100. It performed moderately on the UK Singles Chart where it peaked just outside the top twenty at #21. The song was mostly notable for featuring lead vocals from former group member Naturi Naughton.

The Video was directed by Darren Grant in late 2001. It received decent video play on TV channels such as BET and MTV and enjoyed some success on BET's Top Ten Video Countdown, 106 & Park and MTV's TRL. The video debuted on MTV's Top Ten Video countdown, TRL on April 27, 2001 at #7 and stayed on the countdown for 11 days and peaked at #5. The video fell off the countdown on May 18, 2001. To date, the video occasionally gets spun on MTV Jams and MTV Hits. In the video, it features the girls at a tropical resort.
