Playart
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Playart was a toy company that made cars, similar in size and style to Matchbox. Playart die-cast toy cars were made in Hong Kong and often were distributed as the in-house brand of toy cars for Woolworth and Sears in the 1970s and 1980s. Additionally to the toy cars Playart offered a small range of cheap plastic H0-trains (European, American and Japanese prototypes). Many of them were copies of Lima trains from Italy. These trains were also sold under the brand names of Model Power and Tomy (Japan).
