Platymantis magna is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is endemic to Papua New Guinea. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, rivers, caves, plantations , rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
