Plasmodium josephinae

Plasmodium josephinae is a parasite of the genus Plasmodium subgenus Sauramoeba.

Like all Plasmodium species P. josephinae has both vertebrate and insect hosts. The vertebrate hosts for this parasite are reptiles.
