Planet Heroes is a line of toys from Fisher-Price designed for children, [1] depicting various heroic characters each identified with a specific planet:
- Zip from Mercury
- Dazzle from Venus
- Ace from Earth
- Digger from Mars
- Gustus from Jupiter
- Rings from Saturn
- Yuri from Uranus
- Tune from Neptune
- Shiver from Pluto

The characters have features related to those of their namesake planets, and are endowed with special powers and form a team to keep the solar system safe from their enemy, Black Hole, aka “Professor Darkness.” [3]
[edit] Comic Book/Website
The Planet Heroes site includes online comic books, that allows users to either click or pull virtual page corners to turn pages. [4]
Comic # 1 "Ace in Space"-The Planet Heroes are depicted traveling to Pluto to mine pluterium as a means to stop Black Hole’s Negatronic Cloud from destroying the solar system. Users can download a printable version of the comic book that parents can read to younger children.
Comic # 2 "The Ace that Jumped Over the Moon"-
Also on the Web site is a section called the “Solar Lab” that presents facts of interest about each planet, presented in a question-and-answer format to hold the interest of younger visitors.[5]

The Planet Heroes website offers a free DVD of the episode, "Ace in Space"[1] The episode follows the same plot as the online comic by the same title.
The new Planet Heroes episode, "Here Comes the Sun!" is also available on the website along with the first episode. It can be viewed in its entirety via the streaming version, or a DVD can be ordered for free. The third episode "The Ace that Jumped over the Moon" is currently in production.

The Planet Heroes theme song, which plays on the DVD provided with several of the toys, and by pressing the top button on the "Turbo Shuttle" vehicle, is as follows: "Whoa....the Planet Heroes, they keep our solar system safe. Whoa....the Planet Heroes, they always seem to find a way."

The free DVD episode "Ace in Space" actaully shows the title as "Slingshot" after the show's opening. However, the DVD package itself reads that the episode is "Ace in Space"
