Plainfield North was the third high school to be built in Plainfield, Illinois. It opened in the beginning of the 2005-06 school year for only incoming freshman and sophomores. It will gradually add juniors and seniors and became a four year high school for the 2007-08 school year.

[edit] Academics

Plainfield North will begin ACT testing in April 2007, and test results along with the Illinois School Report Card will be available shortly thereafter. Plainfield North will graduate its first class in 2008, upon which graduation rates will be made available.
