Plainfield East High School, or PEHS, is planned to open for the 2008-2009 academic school year. The school will be a four-year high school located in Plainfield, Illinois, a southwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202, which also includes Plainfield Central High School, Plainfield South High School, and Plainfield North High School.

The fourth high school in the Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 is set to open for the 2008-2009 academic school year. The property's layout is strictly based on the blueprints of those used for the construction of both Plainfield South High School and Plainfield North High School.

Shane Trager has been named as P.E.H.S.' first head football coach. Trager, a 13 year assistant coach at Seneca High School, Seneca, Illinois and native of Marseilles, Illinois, will also serve as the Social Studies Department Chair.
Nick Curby has been named head wrestling coach. He has been a Providence Catholic Assistant coach for 5 years. He will also teach geometry.
