A Plainfield South High School student was expelled for one semester for negative comments made against the school district on his blog on May 2, 2006.[1] The student voiced his anger against the school and compared students' feelings of being bullied by the school to events at Columbine. However the student feels he did not make any threats of violence against the school.[2] One more elementary school will open in the 08-09 school year next to john f. kennedy
