Plague Soundscapes is abrasive rock band The Locust's first album with ANTI- Records, a spinoff of Epitaph Records. It features a less raw sound than previous Locust albums, with a lot more emphasis on keyboards, but still a large amount of screaming and smashing in minute-long bursts.
Track 14, Practiced Hatred, is a Crossed-Out cover, a band that has heavily influenced Justin Pearson and members.
