Description This is a cropped digital reproduction of a watercolour (23.6 x 18.5 cm) by George Raper (1769-1797). It depicts the plant species, Platylobium formosum, and was given the title "Handsome flat-pea (Platylobium formosum)", devised by a cataloguer based on information supplied by vendors' agent. The date is given as [1789?] it is part of the Ducie collection of First Fleet art [picture].

Attributed to George Raper by National Library of Australia Pictures Branch. Further notes given are: Watermark: Crown, shield with horn and GR.

Inscription: "36"--In pencil on verso.
