[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!!!

Hello PixOnTrax! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. If you decide that you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. You may also push the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. Below are some recommended guidelines to facilitate your involvement. [edit] License tagging for Image:SealedHutchdrawing.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:SealedHutchdrawing.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:08, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Zenkerfairuse001.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Zenkerfairuse001.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 09:17, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Concerns about your additions

Talk pages are not message boards.[1] Either discuss how to improve the article or don't post to the talk page, please. Additionally, while it is great for you to correct inaccuracies, please add only information you are certain of to articles.[2] Thanks, Chris Griswold () 21:36, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] New articles in the Pittsburgh region

Thanks for all of the work on railroad articles. When you have an article whose subject is in the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area, please add {{WikiProject Pittsburgh}} to the article's talk page. Thanks. --Chris Griswold () 22:11, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding edits made during February 4, 2007

Please do not continue to use article talk pages as if they were message boards as you did at Talk:Hill District (Pittsburgh). I have written to you about this previously. Article talk pages are only to be used to discuss the article's betterment, not to discuss what the "negroes" are up to with regard to the Hill District. Please stop doing this and instead continue to contribute in a positive manner.--Chris Griswold () 09:34, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Do this again and you will be blocked for disruption. --Chris Griswold () 18:32, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Photos of Pittsburgh

Thanks for all of your work with Pittsburgh-related photographs. To make it easier for other editors to find and use these, please add [[Category:Images of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania]] to the pages of the images you have uploaded. If you have any questions, please ask me. Thanks, Chris Griswold () 07:32, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Image:BoroughofWHsign.038.jpg

A tag has been placed on Image:BoroughofWHsign.038.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
