Someone put that Thompson believed people where driven by games like GTA and Bully. I have no doubt Bully will be accused like this when it is released, but I don't think Thompson has ever refered to Bully in this manner. I replaced Bully with Doom III (seems to be another favorite of Thompson), but does any one know if he specificly mentioned any games in reference to Pixelantes?--SirNuke 16:50, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

I don't have the link with me, but didn't Jack Thompson refer to Bully as a "Columbine simulator"? I'm pretty sure it was either him, or Hilary Clinton. --Mercury1 05:37, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Coined in October 2005?

Is this notable? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 202.12.233.21 (talkcontribs) .

I think it's notable if a) Jack Thompson can't shut up about it, and b) it has gotten some recognition in gaming circles (or at least those concerned about the gaming culture). Gut feeling based on my principle "if I heard of it outside of Wikipedia, it's probably notable." --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 15:50, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

The article currently says: "The statement regarded recent harassment he had received from gamers." Should we add "allegedly"? (as everything regarding this term is very hard to confirm) WZ Lawrence 20:06, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

The link to the LJ article seems a little off. The post supposedly by Thompson is by an anonymous contributer. Can we confirm it's really him and not someone pretending to be him?--The Sultan of Surreal. 12:27, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm still relatively new to Wikipedia, so maybe someone can explain this to me? Why was "webcest" shot down, but "pixelante" gets a page all of its own? It seems like the arguments against the former apply to the latter as well. Shouldn't this be in Wiktionary, not Wikipedia?--H-ko 01:56, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
