[edit] The states with pithe

In its most general definition pithe can even be found in punjab, but I am not adding punjab. But I have personally had pithe made by people from Bihar And Assam. and I guess there is pithe in Tripura and Manipur. But I have never had pithe from Orissa is there really pithe in Orissa ? if there is then in which districts. Note that the dosa is also a kind of pithe by definition. So pithe is a general Indian dish, with most varieties found in the rice producing gangetic plain Jeroje 16:18, 23 July 2007 (UTC)jeroje
