From the article:

Wouldn't it make more sense if the French style was a repudiation of French aristocracy? I don't know personally, but it'd make more sense that way... 68.39.174.238 21:41, 12 April 2006 (UTC)


Think it' less confusing by dropping any particluar nationality reference i.e at "a repudiation of the long hair and wigs of the aristocracy." --213.94.205.109 11:27, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
