Pittsburgh Fire Bureau

Pittsburgh Fire Bureau, or PBF, dates its history back to 1794 and became a fully paid department May 23, 1870. The PBF consists of 29 stations, with 24 engines, 11 trucks, 3 quints and 1 MAC (mobile air compressor unit), which are all divided into 4 battalions. 8 engine and truck is known throughout the world as being the most aggressive interior firefighting company.
