Pittsburg, Florida is a town in Polk County, Florida at Latitude 27.65361 and Longitude: -81.50278, named for the industrial heritage of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It's elevation is 105 feet. It is mostly known for phosphate mining and heavy industry rail spur. It is in the metro Tampa region on the way towards Orlando, Florida.
