Pitman High School is a comprehensive community public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Pitman, in Gloucester County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Pitman School District. In 2007, School Digger ranked it as the 47th best high school (out of 356) in New Jersey.[2]
As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 501 students and 40.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 12.5.[1]

Pitman High School is one of the member schools in the Tri-County Conference, which is composed of schools whose enrollments vary greatly for grades 9-12. The smallest one, Clayton High School, has 249 students enrolled whereas the largest one, Williamstown, has 1,343 students.[3]
The girls tennis team won the South, Group I state tournament in 1999, topping Pennsville High School 4-1 in the final match.[4] The team repeated the title in 2000 with a 4-1 win against Haddon Township High School.[5] The team won the 2006 South, Group I state sectional championship with a 4-1 victory over Point Pleasant Beach High School in the Tournament final.[6] The team won the 2006 Group II State Championship, topping Highland Park High School 5-0 in the semifinals and Verona High School 3-2 to take the title.[7]
The boys soccer team won the 1999 Public Group Semifinals - South, Group I state title with a 2-1 win against Bordentown Regional High School.[8]
[edit] Marching Band
The school's marching band was Chapter One Champions in 1999 (Group 1).[9] The Pitman Panther Marching Band won USSBA NJ State Championships in 2006. With their 2007 show, Spanish Fire, The PHS Marching Band won the 2007 USSBA Group 3A All States Championships in Allentown, PA on November 11, 2007.

- Joe Crispin, class of 1997, Gloucester County's all-time leading scorer for boys' high school basketball (2,651 career points) and future NBA player for the Lakers and Suns. Played collegiately at Penn State and ranks second on the all-time scoring charts (1,986 points). Won the national three point competition after his senior season at PSU.[10][11]
- Jon Crispin, class of 1999, Gloucester County's fourth all-time leading boys' scorer (2,319 career points) in high school. Played collegiately for two seasons at Penn State with brother Joe, then transferred and spent last two seasons with the UCLA Bruins.[12]
- Valerie Roesler, class of 2000, former collegiate soccer player for then-nationally ranked Hofstra University and future semi-professional player in New Jersey. Holds Pitman's girl's soccer records for goals and assists. Played under US national team coach Mark Krikorian (FSU).
