The Pitcairn Mailwing was designed to haul along the airmail routes of the 1920s and 1930s. It can hold around 500 pounds of mail. The Mailwing was eventually produced in six versions, the PA-5, PA-6, PA-6B, PA-7M, PA-7S, and PA-8. They were introduced in 1927 through 1930.
