Pistoia Basket 2000

Pistoia Basket 2000, also known for sponsorship reasons as Carmatic Pistoia is an Italian professional basketball team from the town of Pistoia.

In 2007/08 season it will play in the Italian LegADue (also known as Serie A2, second division of Italian professional basketball).

It was established in 2000 and, in the past, due to sponsorship deals, has also been known as Cassa Risparmio Pistoia (2002-05), Associazione Vivaisti Pistoia (2005-06) and Power Dry Pistoia (2006-07). The 2007/08 will be its debut in LegADue, it has been playing in lower level divisions previously.

In the 1990s, Pistoia has been represented in the Serie A by another club, Maltinti Pistoia.
