Pisidium hodgkini is a freshwater bivalve of the family Sphaeriidae, endemic to New Zealand. They are found throughout New Zealand buried in the sediments of ponds, lakes, streams and rivers.
The shell is small, subtrigonal, very thin and semitransparent, and with the ligament externally visible.
Length is up to 4.5 mm, height 4 mm, and thickness 2.5 mm.
