[edit] Summary

Author: Martin Davis. Made in January 2006, this image shows all of Pisagua, and was made from the road into town. At one time Pisagua had a population of several thousand, and was the terminus of a railway bringing nitrate from the interior. Today a modest open-boat fishing fleet and occasional tourists provide a living for the population of about 250.
