[edit] Your edits to Phil Bredesen
There were several problems with your edit to Phil Bredesen (which has been reverted):
- The sentence "In 1999, governor Sundquist provoked an informal national boycott from the "million-man" American Motorcyclist Association, for renaming Interstate 140 to honor a convicted hit-and-run killer of a tourist" has absolutely nothing to do with Phil Bredesen.
- The tone and one-sidedness of the text you added violates the Undue weight and Fairness of tone sections of the Wikipedia Neutral Point of View policy.
- The source you cited (http://womenssportbikerally.com/2007WSR.html) did not adequately back up the statements made in the text, i.e. there was no mention of a "boycott".
Please let me know if you have any questions about these issues. Thanks! Kaldari 15:47, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Tennessee Code
A tag has been placed on Tennessee Code, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a1.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. superβεεcat 08:30, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
