Simultaneously filing an article in a category and its own subcategories is not permitted on Wikipedia; this article is not to be filed in Category:Radio programs and Category:Radio if it's already in Category:American radio programs. The rule is that you apply only the narrowest appropriate category in any given category tree; you cannot apply that category's own parents in addition. Bearcat 00:27, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
