Pirogov Hospital (Bulgarian: Болница Пирогов) is a large hospital for active treatment and emergency medicine in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. It was founded in the 1950s and as of 2002 had a capacity of 1,005 patients, 26 clinics and departments and employed over 1,025 medics. It was named after Russian surgeon Nikolay Ivanovich Pirogov.
