Piret Järvis (born February 6, 1984 in Tallinn, Estonia) is an Estonian musician, and member of the popular girl group Vanilla Ninja. Born to Maire and Enno Järvis. She has one brother, Peeter, who is 4 years younger and sister, Mari, who is 3 years older.
She was going to the same secondary school as Katrin Siska, however she chose the other trend of studies (with media). She has TV experience - she was appearing in leading and co-managing of a few TV shows. When she can she likes listening to Incubus, Puddle of Mudd, Aaliyah, Tweet and Jill Scott. She can play the piano and was a chorister like Katrin Siska. She joined the group in 2003 and is one of three members to have stayed a member since its formation. Piret has written the lyric for song "Club Kung Fu", with which Vanilla ninja represented Estonia in Eurosong 2003 in Riga, Latvia. Although she initially played a more 'background' role in the group, she featured heavily on their 2005 album Blue Tattoo due to Maarja Kivi (the former lead singer) leaving in 2004 . Järvis often acts as the spokesperson for the group in interviews, and on numerous occasions has been dubbed as the best looking member.
