Talk:Piotrowski

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Poland there are ab. 70 000 of Piotrowskis. They are descendants of a few families of noble Piotrowskis (perhaps some of today's Piotrowskis are also descendants of families sine nobilitais).

However there is no doubt that coat of arms "Piotrowski" did not belong to a "Peter, High Duke of Poland and direct descendent of Catherine Jagiellon". This is a rare coat of arms of Tatar Piotrowskis, descendants of Najman Beg.

What's more, it seems that a "Peter, High Duke of Poland and direct descendent of Catherine Jagiellon" is not a historical character.

Perhaps the entry concerning him is a stupid joke or the activity of an irresponsible maniac.

The last fully true version of the article is the version of 20:21, 2 January 2007. It is fully true but not full as it concerns only a small group of Piotrowskis - Tatar Piotrowskis. However later editions comprise false data.
