Piovà Massaia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 30 km east of Turin and about 20 km northwest of Asti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 676 and an area of 10.8 km².[1]
Piovà Massaia borders the following municipalities: Capriglio, Cerreto d'Asti, Cocconato, Cunico, Montafia, Montiglio Monferrato, Passerano Marmorito, and Piea.
