Piotr Tokarski was born in 1971 Rudki, Poland. He studied photography and filmmaking in Warsaw from 1985- 91. In 1991, he emigrated to Chicago and worked as a construction apprentice. In 1994, he attended Columbia College where he met fellow filmmaker Usama Alshaibi. He worked with David Ingenthron, Chamuco, Colleen Walker, Robert J. Mitchell, Joe Tanis, Michael Griffin, Jo Belky, Eric Rubalcava, Neil Rudimoff, Ned Broderick, Matt Marsden, Anita Weldorf, Robert McGuirre, Gregory Jacobsen, Peter Juszczak, Shannon Zangs, Sarah Sheridan, Echo Transgression and Coco Nizzelle and others. Tokarski worked on number of short films by Usama Alshaibi from 2000 to 2003 and was cast in the 2003 feature Muhammad and Jane. Tokarski continues producing his progressive themed films and photographs.
