The Pioneer Square Station is currently a Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel Station located in Pioneer Square which will have Sound Transit Central Link light rail trains running through it alongside the buses in summer 2009. It completely underground, with entrances in the former Public Safety and Lyon buildings and next to Prefontaine Place on 3rd. 3,300 daily Link light rail boardings are predicted for the year 2020.[1]
