The Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall is a hotel and casino in Laughlin, Nevada, Nevada. Know for its neon cigarette-puffing River Rick marque.[1]

Opened in 1979 as the Colorado Club[2] and was built by Tom Ward and Ed Nigro.[1] The casino was also know as the Pioneer Hotel and had 414 rooms.[2]
In 1980, having been renamed to the Whiskey River Club it was sold to Margaret Elardi.[3] In 1981 the Colorado Club was sold to to Margaret Elardi.[1]
In '1986 opened the very first slots club in Nevada'.[1]
