A tag has been placed on Brahmarishi Hussain Sha, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Brahmarishi Hussain Sha is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template hangon underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Brahmarishi Hussain Sha saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please feel free to use deletion review, but do not continue to repost the article if it is deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions.
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Head9.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Head9.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. i want it to be added in many other places can you guide me
i have another doubt regarding refernces column how do i relate the references regards dr ananda kumar pingali
- I have removed the helpme tag from your User page, and replaced it here. It is more appropriate to have discussions on Talk pages. - Rjd0060 15:04, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- Firstly, your Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham article is very fragmented, after giving it a brief reading, the information is kind of all over the place. It's very long, try compressing it down more but at the same time ensure it doesn't lose any quality. Parts of it appear to have been copied (obviously only an assumption - may well be your own work), parts are missing wikilinks and you should insert the images using this code: thumb|RIGHT OR LEFT|SIZE|DESCRIPTION. Try reading WP:STYLE for more information. As for the Dr Umar Alisha, what categories would you like it placed under? RyanLupin (talk/contribs) 15:21, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
I'm willing to help you rewrite the article to make it meet Wikipedia's guidelines and standards. I have edited the article Umar Alisha, by bringing it back to the basics. It can be expanded from there. But please keep our neutral point of view in mind. I have noticed that you tend to write from a strongly religious perspective. And while there is obviously no problem with that, please keep in mind that Wikipedia has no opinion when it comes to religion. We don't favour them and we don't criticize them, we don't present them as facts and we don't present them as lies. Also, please keep in mind that terms that are obvious to you may not be obvious to others. Please try to avoid jargon.
As far as the article Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham is concerned: as Ryan Lupin has said, the information is kind of all over the place. I would recommend that you move that article to your userspace, to User:Pingali/Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham, so you/we can work on it from there. When it's fixed, it can be moved back to Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham.
Another advise I would give you, is to check the links Nahid has provided above: Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers, Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, Help:Contents, Wikipedia:Five pillars, Wikipedia:How to edit a page, Wikipedia:Tutorial, Wikipedia:Picture tutorial, Wikipedia:How to write a great article, Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you want to learn what Wikipedia articles look like, you can read our manual of style and you can click "Random article" in the left hand column. What might be useful in your case, is to look at the articles in Category:Hinduism and its subcategories. If you have any questions, please leave me a message at my talk page: User talk:Aecis. Yours, AecisBrievenbus 00:40, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- Because the subject you're trying to present to wikipedia is totally unknown to me, I'm afraid I can't assist you in deciding the categories. But what I can do, is direct you to wikipedia resources which should aid you in making your decisions. Try browsing through: WP:CAT, Categorization FAQ, WP:CG and for existing categories, try Categorical index. As I said, I'm sorry I cannot be of more assistance with categories. If you feel I haven't helped you here, please feel free to insert the
helpme
tag once again. Regards RyanLupin (talk/contribs) 07:55, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Brahmarishi Hussain Sha
I had initially deleted the article Brahmarishi Hussain Sha, because I felt it didn't assert the notability of the subject. Wikipedia has certain notability criteria for subjects of articles: Wikipedia only includes articles about notable people. I have reread the article, and I have changed my mind: the subject appears to be notable enough for Wikipedia, or at least notable enough for the article not to be deleted without any discussion. That is why I have restored the article. I hope this answers your question. If it doesn't, please let me know. AecisBrievenbus 09:32, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Bheemili ashram 24-12-2001.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:Bheemili ashram 24-12-2001.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. [edit] Image source problem with Image:Doctor of literature umar alisha.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Doctor of literature umar alisha.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the GFDL-self tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as article name or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 11:14, 11 October 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Umar Alisha Sahithi Samithi
A tag has been placed on Umar Alisha Sahithi Samithi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. AecisBrievenbus 11:16, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Infoboxes and coordinates
You can find information on how to build infoboxes at Help:Infobox, Wikipedia:Infobox templates and Wikipedia:List of infoboxes. I hope you can find what you are looking for at these pages. If not, please let me know, so I can seek elsewhere. There are a lot of different ways to add the coordinates to an article. Some of them are specified at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers)#Geographical coordinates, Category:Coordinates templates and Wikipedia:WikiProject Geographical coordinates. [edit] AfD nomination of Umar Alisha Sahithi Samithi
Umar Alisha Sahithi Samithi, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Umar Alisha Sahithi Samithi satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Umar Alisha Sahithi Samithi and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Umar Alisha Sahithi Samithi during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. When writing for Wikipedia, please remember not to use religious jargon, such as saying that someone "Synthesized in the Divine light" (from the article Brahmarishi Hussain Sha). Please keep in mind that Wikipedia is not a religious project, and that it is visited by many many people who are not versed in certain religious concepts. [edit] Help
help How do i link image file to the articles Pingali 08:07, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
- To link to an image without showing it, (like this: Image:Example.png), type :Image:Example.png.
To display an image the simplest way is , which produces an image like the one visible here on the right.

[edit] Orphaned Images
- Image:Doctor of literature umar alisha.JPG
- Image:INDIANEXPRESSNEWSDATED07-07-2000.JPG
- Image:Peetham about.JPG
- Image:Spiritualism promotes religious Harmony.JPG
- All the images I just listed above are not used in any article. If you go to the image page then scroll down to where it says "File Links", you should see a list of one or more articles. At the moment the "File Links" section is blank on those images, which means they are not being used in any article. If you tell me which article(s) you wanted to insert them in, I can have a look and see if something is wrong. Jackaranga 15:16, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
- I changed Dr Umar Alisha, to give you an idea of what you should do. You can't upload scans of newspaper articles though because they are copyrighted. Simply giving the newspaper name and date is sufficient proof.
- You can now change the other 2 articles.
- Unless you can actually see the little photo like you can in Umar Alisha now, it will be considered orphaned. That is the correct way of inserting a photo, not using . The ref tags are used for providing proof that what you are saying is notable and deserves an article on wikipedia. You should not upload articles from newspapers, just type something like Please use this format for the date, so that users may choose exactly how it is displayed in their preferences.
- One last thing please do not add help to my talk page or it puts me (not you) in the category of users asking for help.
- Happy editing. Jackaranga 16:34, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Pingali Lakshmikantamu
A tag has been placed on Pingali Lakshmikantamu, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Please write neutrally
I have asked it before, and I'm gonna have to ask it again: please write neutrally. Wikipedia is not a religious encyclopedia, religious terminology doesn't belong here and religious truisms shouldn't be treated as fact. We say that people "die", we don't say that "their souls merged" or that someone "left his physical body." We write about what books people have written, but we don't write that a book is "an excellent exposition of the uncommon achievements of a yoga virtuoso not so well known." Please remember to abide by our neutral point of view policy and our manual of style. AecisBrievenbus 14:13, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of homeopaths
Hi Pingali. Thanks for leaving a message on my talk page. The list of homeopaths is supposed to be of "people [who] are generally recognized as influential homeopaths, either historically or currently, not simply a list of anyone who is a homeopath. I removed a number of names that did not seem, to me, to meet that criteria. I set a fairly low bar as I'm not very familiar with the field and didn't want to remove people just because I'd never heard of them. In your case there seemed to be nothing in particular about your listing to make the claim that you were more than a regular, good, practicing homeopath and I could find nothing about you elsewhere to make me think you were (yet!) particularly influential in the field. If there is something I missed and you believe you are influential enough to be added to the list, I think the most appropriate thing to do would be to make your case on the talk page and get input from other independent editors, perhaps by posting to talk:homeopathy, WikiProject Homeopathy, and the conflict of interest noticeboard. This would be in keeping with our conflict of interest guidelines. -- SiobhanHansa 13:58, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Another editor has added the "prod

All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the prod
