[edit] Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 02:22, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gertrude Stein

Sorry I did not get back to you sooner Looks impressive. Be sure to discuss with the other editors on the talk page. Cheers, :) Dlohcierekim 03:03, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, Dlohcierekim-

When you say discuss with the other editors, do you mean in my own talk section, or in the discussion section that's related to the entry I've been working with? I'm guessing you mean the discussion section that's part of the Gertrude Stein entry. I'll post some observations there.

Yes, I could have been clearer. Talk:Gertrude_Stein is what I meant. Cheers, :) Dlohcierekim 13:17, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Harriet Lane Levy

A tag has been placed on Harriet Lane Levy, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. • I Have removed the SD tag from the article. See the article's discussion. User Doe ☻T ☼C 17:31, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, much. I'll follow the guidance on the new templates, but it may take me an extra day, because won't be able to get access to the Levy autobiography until the libraries open on Friday.

Best regards,

[edit] Sarah Stein

I'd like to write a biography for Sarah Stein, wife of Michael Stein, and sister-in-law of Gertrude and Leo Stein. It is difficult to find biographical information about her, but she was a substantial collector of Henri Matisse's artwork, and paintings from her original collection hang in museums world wide. She also was an instigator, with Hans Purrmann, of the Matisse art school in Paris in the early 1900's. Her life has drama and pathos, and she has a story that should be told.

[edit] Help:Archiving a talk page

Please see Help:Archiving a talk page before archiving your next talk page. Per that page I created Talk:Gertrude Stein/Archive 1 and a link to that page on Talk:Gertrude Stein in the form of a box (template) at the top: {{ archive box|auto=yes }}. That's about all you have to do in the future. Thanks for your work on the article. Hyacinth (talk) 23:47, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
