[edit] Alumni

The only sources I can find from Google are Wikipedia and its mirrors, and other articles can't be cited as sources. If these aren't sourced in a few weeks, I'm going to remove them. Wodup 01:34, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

I dug up St. Pete Times articles mentioning two of the three. I can't find an article on Dennis Knight though. Can you cite yearbooks? I'm also a little curious why this article's alumni list has been held to this standard. I don't see many citations on the alumni lists of other schools. Jonadair 04:05, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Great job finding those. I didn't think to search internet archives.
Sure, I think yearbooks can be cited.
I wanted to improve this article (it's one of a couple of articles that I've added content to) and I couldn't verify that any of those three people were alumni. I didn't know that is was correct. Wodup 06:27, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Patriot

The school mascot is the Patriot? Is that a bird, an animal? From a quick look at the school's website I'm thinking it's a reference to "people who exhibit pride in, and loyalty to, their country", as a consequence of the school being founded in the year 1976. But I'm just guessing, and as a reader am somewhat confused. I've not before come across a 'mascot' being a character trait explicitly, rather than an animal/bird etc that is held to exhibit a particular character trait. Regarding what a patriot is, at the time of your question, the Patriot link in the infobox had been disambiguated to Patriot (American Revolution). Regarding a patriot as a mascot, I'd refer you to the American football team New England Patriots. Wodup 22:15, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
