Pinsoro

Pinsoro is a village situated to the northwest of the city of Zaragoza in northeastern Spain. Its population is approximately 1,000. This village concerns Ejea de los Caballeros municipality.

Pinsoro was founded by colonist families in 1962, subsidized by the Spanish government. Since the moment of its foundation till nowadays, the village hasn't stopped growing economically. Today, Pinsoro has a lot of shops and supermarkets, a medical centre, two theaters, an agriculture factory and more installations.

The places to visit at this village are directly connected with Nature:

  • El Lagunazo de Moncayuelo: is a lake in the outskirts of Pinsoro. Here live a lot of bird species. In this place is allowed to eat and to do camping.
  • "El Cierzo" Hotel: in the centre of the village. This hotel has many beautiful rooms for a rest.
  • Pinsoro Church: the oldest building in the town.
  • Pinsoro Arch: in the past was the entrance in the town.
  • Bullring.
  • Sport installations: a swimming pool, a frontennis coach, a sports pavilion and lot of more installations.

Pinsoro's observatory is a useful place to see astronomy phenomenons like asteroid hiding.

  • San Isidro Festivals: in spring, the week of 15th May.
  • San Mateo Festivals: the most important festivals in Pinsoro. They take place in summer, the week of 21st September.
