Sandy Pinkard and Richard Bowden are an American Country Music comedy duo (in the vein of Homer and Jethro), famous mostly for their parodies of popular country songs, some cowritten with Tim Wilson.

Among their recordings are "She thinks I steal cars" (from George Jones "She thinks I still care, "Libyan on a Jet Plane" (from John Denver's "Leavin' on a Jet Plane"), "Blue Hairs Driving in my Lane" (from Willie Nelson's "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain"), "Drivin' My Wife Away" (from Eddie Rabbitt's "Drivin' My Life Away"), and "Music Industry" (from "Islands in the Stream", recorded by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton). Their original songs include "Don't Pet the Dog", "Trailer Park Woman", "Elvis Was a Narc", and "The Ballad of Dick and Jane".

Their live recordings also include "Jimi and Eddie" (featuring the lyrics to Green Acres, which starred Eddie Albert, set to the tune of Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze"), and "The Fifties Suck", throwing water on 1950s nostalgia with some of the ugly truths of that decade (including American paranoia over nuclear war, gas-guzzling automobiles, and the abundance of kitschy science fiction movies).

Despite rumors in the celebrity news gossip blogosphere, Pinkard and Bowden did not temporarily split in 2002 over creative differences. They did however admit to taking a 3-month touring hiatus over a disagreement on how to tastefully express how lame they thought Star Wars Episode II was. Pinkard wanted to set the parody to "Rocky Mountain High" while Bowden wanted to set it to the tune of "He Stopped Loving Her Today."
