Pink Pylon

The Pink Pylon was pylon ZP226, located in Ashworth Valley, near Rochdale, Greater Manchester, England. The pylon was painted pink in 1998 for the film Among Giants. The line to the pylon, which carried two 400kV circuits, was demounted in 2003. The pylon itself was demolished on November 26, 2003.
The pylon was located at grid reference SD833152.
