Pink Man (real name: Michael Maxfield) is a local celebrity from the San Francisco Bay Area, although his hometown is Leominster, Massachusetts. He can be seen riding his unicycle around the cities of Berkeley, Oakland and San Francisco. He gets his name from the pink unitard and cape he wears while he performs tricks. He frequently performs spins and sudden stops, or simply rides down the street while flapping his arms like a bird. While most of his performances are impromptu and take place on public streets, he has performed on his unicycle in a play titled "I Wheel" which ran at the Live Oak Theater in Berkeley in 2002. Before Berkeley pinkman was frequently sighted around Eugene, Oregon.
Pink Man has been seen "pinking" in the cities of Paris, Tokyo, and Miami.
