Pink Bubbles Go Ape is the fourth album by the German heavy metal band Helloween, released in 1991. It marked the departure of guitarist Kai Hansen and the first recording of Helloween with Roland Grapow on guitars. Musically it was written with a softer, less epic, and sometimes humorous approach, which would be later fully implemented in Chameleon.

The track Heavy Metal Hamsters was written about their record company and was, according to Michael Weikath, never intended to be on the album, but rather, as a B-side. A lack of material changed this matter, however.
