Pingxiang, Guangxi

Pingxiang (Chinese: 凭祥市; pinyin: Píngxiáng Shì) is a county of Chongzuo City in southern China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Zhennan Pass (now named the Friendship Pass) located at the border is considered the gateway to Vietnam and was the site of the Battle of Zhennan Pass during the Sino-French War.

Pingxiang covers an area of 650 km² and has a population of approximately 100,000. Ethnic groups include Zhuang, Han, Yao, Miao, Jing, and others.
