Pingtan Island

Pingtan Island (Chinese: 平潭岛, or 海坛岛) is located in the eastern Fujian Province. It is a largest island in Fujian, and the fifth largest island in China. Pingtan Island is now under charge of Pingtan County, and there lies Haitan Strait between the island and Fuqing City.
