[edit] Art
Art displays and exhibitions occur year round in during the Pine Richland High School year. These displays include photography, drawings, paintings and self portraits. The Annual Pine Richland Art Show takes place at the beginning of May each year, featuring portfolios of Advanced Placement art students and Alumni.
[edit] Band
The band course contains both a fall/winter marching band section and a latter year ensemble experience. The Pine-Richland Rams Marching Band has a yearly repertoire consisting of an "opener," a tuba feature, a band dance (during which the drumline is also featured), a colorguard feature, a dance team feature and other songs. The second part of the band course, the ensemble band, focuses on musical ability. The ensemble band is split into two groups, Concert Band and Wind Ensemble, by ability, Wind Ensemble being the harder of the two groups to get into. Until recently, many members of band have been skipping class, until Mr. Mazer, one of the band directors, finally noticed the lack of attendance and threw a hissyfit. But its okay, Freddy is going to be working at Eden Hall Upper Elementary School, Pine Richland's biggest waste of money so far.
[edit] Jazz Ensemble
Jazz Ensemble provides a venue where the more musically talented PR students can play jazz and blues music. Jazz Band is the same thing, but with easier pieces to play. In general, no one really tries, and Mr. Supinski, the awesome Jazz teacher, doesn't seem to notice. Sup is loved by all
