Description |
English: Scheme of a pintle-and-gudgeon system of medieval and early modern ships with sternpost-mounted rudder. This system appeared first in northern Europe in the early 12th century.
Français : Schéma du système de montage d'un gouvernail d'étambot sur un navire du Moyen Âge et de l'Époque moderne. Ce système est apparu initialement en Europe du Nord au début du XIIe siècle.
